I bet you would think it was a genius offense if Princeton ran it.
Also, I have a hunch that you would think that any offense run by
Memphis is streetball... and you may have a point, to a certain
extent, since many of their players come from tough neighborhoods in
urban environments. They have an organized system; they just run it
really fast, so that it may seem disorganized to the layman. Also,
they are talented enough as individuals to be able to improvise and
create scoring opportunities that may not be part of the design. It
doesn't always work, but it would be dumb to not do that if they were
interested in maximizing their team's chances of winning.
