Oh, come now. Kentucky are pros at this thing. They wouldn't take
Carter's scholarship...rather, there'd be a press release announcing that
Carter had decided to depart the University Of Kentucky to pursue better
opportunities with more playing time elsewhere. Realistically, it might
even legitimately be the best thing for him. He wouldn't be the first tall
unproductive guy to depart UK because playing time isn't forthcoming. It
also doesn't really help that he was a product of the Tubby Smith
recruiting regime, not the Gillispie regime. I dunno, we'll see what
happens but thus far Carter isn't doing UK or himself any favors being on
this team.
