I was also at the Rose Bowl. The reaction was louder from the Bruin
fans than the Irish. The event also coincided neatly with the game
unraveling for UCLA.

I was at the Coliseum in 1993 for the SC-UCLA game when BC beat Notre
Dame. That reaction was louder than Saturday's.
